The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place program is a FREE half-day activity program created to encourage socialization and engagement in an environment where everyone feels at ease. The program is designed specifically for individuals with early to moderate Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory loss. Family caregivers receive 3 hours of respite care support while their loved ones attend a Gathering Place.

Christ the Redeemer has partnered with Care Partners to bring The Gathering Place program to our community. We provide the space and volunteers who are trained by CarePartners to serve as guides throughout the day, offering companionship and fun for individuals living with memory loss. These volunteers are an integral part of creating a supportive and joyful atmosphere. Our Gatherings are the fourth Tuesday of every month from 10am to 1pm in our Community Center.
