- CtR Music Ministries provide music leadership for all parish liturgies, including masses, weddings, funerals, prayer and reconciliation services. Parishioners are invited to share their musical talents with the rest of the community through the Music Ministries. See our various ministries and how you get involved further down on this page.

Music Ministries at CtR
- We are always looking for new singers and instrumentalists!

- Redeemer Choir Redeemer Choir sings at the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass and at all major parish liturgies. Rehearsals are from 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays in the church. This is an adult choir and all those who enjoy singing are welcome.
- Choristers This choir is for 3rd-7th grade students. Choristers sing about once a month at the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass and for other celebrations. Members learn basic voice and choral techniques and liturgical lessons. Rehearsals are 5:30-6:45 p.m. on Mondays in Rm. 111 of the Parish Office Bldg.
- Youth Singers The Youth Singers are in grades 8 - 12 and sing about once a month at the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are from 7-8:15 p.m. on Mondays in Rm 111 of the Parish Office Bldg..
- Cantors Cantors primarily lead the assembly in the singing of the psalms during Mass. When a choir is not present, cantors will lead the congregation during all songs. Auditions are required, and training is available on an individual basis.
- Contemporary
  Ensemble This group sings at the 5 p.m. Mass on Sundays and includes guitars, drums and other instruments. High school, adults are welcome. Practice is at 7 p.m. Tuesdays. Sunday setup is at 3:30 p.m., warm-up begins at 4 p.m.
- CtR Ringers
  Handbells Handbells are a rich tradition in many churches that enhances the music with their mystical sounds.
- Resurrection Choir This choir ministers to those mourning the death of a loved one by singing at funeral Masses. Qualifications include an ability to sing and availability on weekday mornings.
- Instrumentalists Instrumentalists are invited to enhance the worship at Mass through their talents and gifts, with or without the presence of a choir. Contact the Director of Music Ministries, Bridget Wenk, [email protected] to volunteer.
CtR Pipe Organ Project

- Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church is excited to announce its next step in the journey toward creating a more heavenly liturgy. The CtR Pipe Organ Project will allow parishioners to directly engage in bringing a pipe organ, which is uniquely suited for leading large assemblies, in singing the acclamations, hymns, and Psalms at Mass in a way we never have before.
Resources for CtR Groups & Ministries
- As a CtR group or ministry, you may want to incorporate music into your meetings or gatherings, whether through printed worship aids or displaying music on a screen. There are specific procedures the church must follow when reprinting music, even when only displaying the words. We ask you to contact the Music Department when preparing music for an event. We are happy to help and serve you!
