Totally Catholic VBSWhat do we mean by "Totally Catholic" VBS?
Our program is fully immersed in our Catholic faith, ensuring that our young people grow closer to Christ through the beautiful traditions of the Church. Here is how we bring this to life each day of camp:- Catholic Scripture Background: Our teachings are rooted deeply in the Catholic understanding of Scripture. Your children will not just hear Bible stories; they will learn how God's Word connects to Sacred Tradition, the Sacraments, and our daily life of faith. We look at Scripture through the lens of God's saving love, helping kids see how the Bible applies to them today.
- Catholic ID: Our Catholic ID feature highlights the essential beliefs and practices of the Church. By focusing on these traditions, we promote a strong Catholic identity and help kids connect their faith to daily life. Each day, your child will see how our beautiful Catholic heritage guides their actions, choices, and love for others.
- Saints of the Day: Our Saints of the Day are specially chosen to connect with each day's Bible Point. By learning about these real-life heroes of the Church, your children will see concrete examples of how to live out the daily message. These holy men and women serve as inspiring role models, showing our young explorers that anyone can grow close to God and become a saint!
The Daily Blue Print
Each day, your young explorers will dive into a specific Bible Point. This central theme acts as the foundation for each day, beautifully connecting a lively Scripture story, a key Bible verse, a unique Catholic ID, and an inspiring Saint of the Day! Through these daily connections, kids will see how Scripture and our rich Catholic tradition come together seamlessly in everyday life. -

Adults Station Leaders (Elementary & Preschool)-
- Receive material ahead of time to prepare lesson/activity to be done each day of camp.
- Decorate / prepare room or area where the station is taking place.
- Teach the same daily lesson or activity to 5 groups that rotate through your station (Lessons / activity change daily).
Adult Leaders in Preschool (PS Classrooms)- Decorate their assigned classroom the week before camp starts
- Travel from station to station with your assigned group of teen volunteers and campers.
- Provide guidance and support for your teen leaders.
- Bring joy and fun to your PS classroom
Adult Group Leaders (Elementary)-- Travel from station to station with your assigned group of teen volunteers (crew leaders) and campers. ( 2 adults per group).
- Provide guidance and support for your entire group of teen leaders.
- Demonstrate positive leadership skills.
Teens: Assistants in Elementary crews and in the Preschool classroom. You can also assist in the stations for Elementary & Preschool. Approval from the coordinator is needed to assist in one of the following: PS Bible, PS Games, PS Crafts, PS Sticky Scripture, Elem. Bible, Elem. Games, Elem. Crafts, Elem. Sticky Scripture, Sing and Play and Kitchen. All teen volunteers must be entering 8th grade or above.
6th and 7th-grade students can volunteer only if a parent is volunteering at the same time in a station only, not as assistants in Elementary crew or in the preschool classrooms.
All teens are asked to help decorate in preparation for VBS.
Meeting Dates: Shared through Flocknote (Must attend 1 only)
