Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

The Order of Initiation of Adults, or OCIA, is the process that guides individuals into full initiation into the Roman Catholic Church. We offer a year-round process at Christ the Redeemer.

To answer parent's questions at an initial meeting please begin by filling out the OCIA Youth Intake Form. After receiving this form we will schedule an initial meeting in order to discern together the best next steps in your child's faith journey!

Please Note: You must be the parent or legal guardian in order to request sacraments for your minor child. Grandparents and other interested parties, please refer the child's parent (or legal guardian) to the above intake form.

Adults age 18+ may start their journey at any time throughout the year at our Wednesday Night Inquiry Sessions. If it is your first time attending a Wednesday Night Inquiry Session please call the Church Office first at (281)469-5533 to make sure there are sessions that evening.

To answer questions about the OCIA process at an initial meeting please begin by filling out an OCIA Adult Intake Form.  After receiving this form we will schedule an initial meeting in order to discern together the best next steps in your unique faith journey!
