Registration for the 2026-2027 Catechetical Year will open April 1, 2026. We offer faith formation either as home based (parents teach the lessons at home following the curriculum provided by the RE Department each year) or in person classes (if space permits).
For in person classes we are always in need of adults to pass our beautiful Catholic faith on to the children of the parish. If you feel Jesus calling you to join the ministry, help is always appreciated and needed in the following ways:
If you have moved into the area, have a special circumstance, or have any questions about RE, please contact Linda Watso.
In person class times are:
Sunday 10:30-11:45 a.m.
Sunday 3:30-4:45 p.m.
Monday 6:00-7:15 p.m.
All are welcome to participate in faith formation at Christ the Redeemer. "God knows the hearts of children...Prayer needs no spoken words...God listens and can hear even if a child is unable to pray out loud"
The Religious Education Department and Catechetical Ministry Team at Christ the Redeemer directly serves families of children Preschool* (age 3 and up) through 5th grade.
The mission of Christ the Redeemer’s Religious Education program is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to families by forming the faith of the children through the process of religious education. At the same time, we accompany, evangelize, and catechize the parents who are primarily responsible for raising their children in the faith.
We are always in need of many catechetical ministers to give a weekly commitment to help in the classroom. We will offer all of the training needed and assist all our ministers throughout the year! If you are interested in joining the ministry, please email Adilene Huff at [email protected].
The Religious Education Department communicates to our families via Flocknote, the parish email and text messaging system. Sign up to learn more about how to get involved in our program.
