Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church works closely with Cypress Assistance Ministries to serve area families in need. CtR parishioners founded CAM in July 1990 where donated food and other items were distributed from the trunks of parishioners' cars. In the years since, it has grown immensely as an independent nonprofit in size and scale, serving nearly 20,000 individuals every year.
