Linda Watso

Linda Watso has called Christ the Redeemer home since 2001. Her oldest son became very involved with youth activities and, as parent chauffeurs, she and her husband, David, began participating as volunteers at CtR and never looked back. 

Linda grew up in Lafayette, La., where she had been active in her home parish since she was old enough to help. She and David moved to Houston in 2001. While she was a stay-at-home mom she began running the Vacation Bible School (VBS) program at CtR. In 2016 she began working as an assistant with the Religious Education Department, served as the Coordinator for Religious Education, and in January 2022 began as the Director of Religious Education.

Linda has been involved in many ministries at CtR including being a catechist for religious education classes, sacraments core team, youth Core Team, Eucharistic Minister, and she and David previously ran the Respect Life Ministry for a couple of years.

She and David live in Cypress and have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons.
