Lector Formation

Individuals interested in joining this ministry must be 18 years old or older, possess a strong and clear public speaking voice, and have a commitment to study scripture and practice public proclamation. Typical time commitments for this ministry include three to four hours of at-home preparation during the week leading up to the lector assignment. All ministers who serve at Mass must be safe-environment trained through CMG Connect.
